Zero-Tolerance Drug & Alcohol Policy
Last updated: July 2026
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 first. Then report the incident to us using the steps below.
Our Commitment
AUX Rideshare, LLC (“AUX”) maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy on the use of drugs and alcohol by drivers on our platform. No amount of drug or alcohol use, and no degree of impairment, is tolerated while a driver is logged in to the AUX digital network or providing a ride. This policy applies in every market we serve — Dallas, Austin, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Tuscaloosa — and to every ride booked through the AUX app or website.
Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to every driver on the AUX platform for the entire time they are logged in to the network — including while waiting for ride requests, while en route to a pickup, and while transporting passengers — until they log off. Drivers must not log in to the network if they have consumed alcohol, used any impairing drug, or are otherwise impaired to any degree.
Prohibited Conduct
While logged in to the AUX network, a driver may not:
- Consume alcohol, or be under the influence of alcohol in any amount.
- Use, possess, or be under the influence of any illegal drug or controlled substance.
- Be impaired by any substance — including prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, or marijuana regardless of its legal status in any jurisdiction.
- Have an open container of alcohol in the driver’s area of the vehicle.
- Accept, share, or consume any alcohol or drugs offered by passengers.
How to Report a Suspected Violation
If you reasonably suspect that your driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any point during your ride, report it to us. If the ride is still in progress, ask the driver to end the ride, exit the vehicle at the first safe opportunity, and call 911 if you believe anyone is in danger. Do not confront the driver about suspected impairment.
Report the incident to AUX through any of these channels:
- Phone: 972-803-6021
- Email: info@auxrideshare.com with the subject line “Zero-Tolerance Report”
- In-app: through the support and help options in the AUX Rideshare app
Please include the date and time of the ride, the city, the pickup and drop-off locations, the driver’s name if known, and a description of what you observed. Reports may be made anonymously, though contact information helps us investigate thoroughly.
What Happens After You Report
- Upon receiving a complaint alleging a violation of this policy, AUX will immediately suspend the driver’s access to the AUX platform.
- AUX will conduct an investigation into the reported incident. The suspension remains in effect for the full duration of the investigation.
- If the investigation confirms a violation, the driver is permanently deactivated from the AUX platform.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators in connection with any investigation.
- We retain all records relevant to a complaint and its investigation for at least two years, as required by law.
Alcohol on Board for Passengers
AUX provides group and party bus transportation, and this policy governs our drivers — it is not a license for unrestricted consumption on board. Passenger possession or consumption of alcohol is permitted only where and to the extent allowed by the laws of the state and locality in which the ride takes place, and by the rules disclosed for your booking. No person under 21 may possess or consume alcohol on any AUX vehicle under any circumstances. Drivers never participate in, share in, or consume anything offered by passengers, and may decline, pause, or end a ride when passenger conduct is unsafe or unlawful. See our Terms of Service for our full conduct expectations.
State Law Notices
AUX maintains and enforces this policy in accordance with the transportation network company laws of each state in which we operate:

Arizona law also holds drivers providing transportation network services to a stricter 0.04 blood-alcohol standard.
